Fourteen pieces is not modesty. It is arithmetic.
That is how much a small studio can sew properly, check on nine different bodies and describe honestly. A fifteenth piece would mean one of the others had stopped being watched.

The studio sits in a former weaving mill on Księży Młyn, in a building where someone made clothes a hundred and thirty years ago, and again a hundred years after that. This is not a brand story — it is simply the one part of Łódź where space like this is plentiful and cheap.
There are five of us. Two at the machines, one cutting, one on patterns and toiles, one on everything else — orders, parcels and this website.
The collection is made once a season, in a single run, from one batch of cloth dyed in the same cycle. That is why the powder pink jumper genuinely matches the powder pink trousers instead of nearly matching them: it is the same dye from the same bath.
Four cloths, all from Europe
Not because European is better by definition, but because at these quantities we can drive out and see the place where it is woven.

Cotton with linen — the trench coats
A mill twenty minutes outside Łódź. Unlined, so the coat can be worn from March through to November.

Merino and wool with cotton — the knitwear
Yarn from Italy, knitted in Wielkopolska. Merino itches less than sheep's wool, and that is the only reason it costs more.

Silk — the blue blouse
The only piece that needs hand washing. We did consider viscose; silk won, because in this shade viscose looks cheap.

Viscose and Tencel — blouses and trousers
Fluid, they come out of a suitcase uncreased and they wash at thirty degrees. The mint trousers use the lightest version and are slightly sheer in strong sun — we say so in the description, before anyone is surprised.

When does the parcel go out?
Within 48 working hours of the order. The tracking number reaches you by email at the moment we hand the parcel over, not the following day.
How much is delivery?
€9 anywhere in the European Union, free above €69. Three to five days, depending on the country. Collection from the studio costs nothing — just write first, because the door is sometimes locked when all five of us are at the machines.
Do you ship outside the EU?
Not for now. Outside the Union we cannot tell you the duty and the handling fee in advance, and we would rather not quote a total that turns out to be wrong. Prices in Polish złoty are in the Polish version of the shop.
How does a return work?
You have 30 days, counted from the day the parcel reaches you. The return is free — the label is already in the box. We do not ask for a reason, but one sentence helps: it is the only way we learn what to change in the next run.
And a size exchange?
No charge, and nothing to send back first. Tell us which size should come and it goes out straight away; the first one travels back on the same label. If the size you want is not in stock, you hear that in the same reply, not a week later.
What if something is faulty?
Send a photo by email and you know the same day what happens next. A fault is not a return but a complaint — you have two years for that and there is nothing to argue about, because that is what the law says. A split seam we mend here in the studio and send back, if you prefer that to a new piece.
Demo note: MALWA does not exist. The studio, the team, the fabrics and the policies were invented to demonstrate a shop you enter through a look rather than through a category.
